I recently purchased an Asus eee.
It came with 1GB and runs XP.....pretty normal
I purchased a 2GB 200pin DDR2 SODIMM, which appears to be the correct type.
I installed it, with no problems but when I check SYSTEM PROPERTIES
it says that I have only 0.99 GB. But, it does also say
PHYSICAL ADDRESS EXTENSION.
Any other way to verify that the 2gb is installed?
Was there a step I didn't take to help Vista find the extra RAM?
Or, might they have put a 1gb module in a 2gb package (the package is correctly labeled)
