While playing around with the features of Google Desktop, I saw that you could select a system monitor feature. Well, upon doing that it shows what seems to be that half of my 1GB of memory is constantly being used! I'm not sure if I'm reading this right or not, so I've posted a copy of my desktop with the screenshot of GoogleDT and Task Manager, plus a list of processes that are running.
Desktop w/google & task manager:

Process list: (Overlapped to show all)

Is it normal to have this amount of memory usage constantly? I'm running Windows XP MC edition, ram is 2x512 DDR2 PC4300 @ 266MHz.
I've started to notice that small simple things take longer to do now that what they ever should be (such as right clicking on an image or viewing a picture with windows picture and fax viewer).
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Edit: Sorry for the small size of the images, apparently Photobucket resized them for me. If I need to post something better, I will.
