:( Hi, can any one help , my comp keeps telling me there is no virtual memory, it happens at least once a day, it sorts it out but it keeps slowing every thing down when i use it, how can i cure it , or get extra memory.

virtual memory is hard drive space used for memory, when you have low amount of physical memory your pc has to use some of your hard drives space as virtual memory!

how much memory do you have?

To alter the virtual memory settings:

1. Right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop, and then click Properties.
2. Click the Performance tab.
3. Click Virtual Memory, and then click Let me specify my own virtual memory settings.
4. Click the hard disk that you want to use for virtual memory, and then select the minimum and maximum amounts of virtual memory.
5. Click OK, click OK, and then restart your computer.

Also, go through this to eliminate some processes from running at startup.
