help A.S.A.P:)

Whats the model number of your PC? How much memory (RAM) you can have depends on your Mobo, what it can support. Ram comes in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1g sticks, but what your PC can handle depends on the make.

Also Memory or Ram has nothing to do with your HD space. If you want more HD space either add another HD, clean out the one you have or get a bigger one

The Gateway system is your signature has a 60gigabyte ide hard drive installed on it. After partitioning, formatting, and the installation of Windows the total usable space is the 53.2gb approximate. The amount of drive space used is the 21.2gb you mention. There are various makes and model drives if you are interested in increasing available space.

But you would need a full version of Windows on cd in order to see the system running if the 60gb now used is replaced. Even with disk cloning programs available the change of size would be a factor. When adding one or drive you would have to partition and format the one or more before being able to copy or move files to it.
