A friend brought me a laptop that gives a message "BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart," I've never run across this before, and I just popped in hiren boot and figuring I'd just run a bunch of diagnostics as a preliminary approach I ran memtest86+, not even really knowing what it is. The thing found literally millions of errors.
From what I understand this thing checks whether RAM is working fine. So what precisely does this mean? Firstly, how the heck does RAM stop working properly and secondly can this computer keep running in spite of this?
