Mercury deleux cam problem!

hey!
i have a deleux classic cam 2.1 pixel, and i was wondering why when i set the quality to fine and take 1 picture it considers it as two ex: instead of becoming from 50 to 49 it becomes 48, considering that when is which to fine from normal mode the number of shots i can take decreases too.

That counter is only an estimate, and it considers an average filesize of a jpg. But the size of a photo in jpg format depends on how much information is in it (e.g. if you take a picture in a totally dark room the resulting jpg will be very small).

But this problem is not occuring if i take a pic in a dark or bright room with the normal quality.

At normal quality the file is smaller and the jpg compression is higher. So the size difference between pictures is smaller too and the jpg size can be approximated much better.

Well i tried to take to pics at fine quality, one bright and one dark, and you were right, for the bright it was considered as 2 and for the dark, 1. Thanks for the help.
