Merging Partitions.

I have windows Vista installed on a 80gb sata and I just put another one in my laptop, exactly the same. Is there a way to merge the partitions. like using a program like partition magic or something like that? I'd like them to be one big partition.

In order to do what you want to do, a RAID controller is necessary. I don't know if your notebook has one but I would doubt it. It would make more sense to have simply installed a larger drive in the first place.

I reinstalled windows and ran the hard drives in raid so I guess I do have that raid controller thanks.
