I tried setting a up/down load limit, but my brother changed it back. So now I wanna do somehting in the admin on his computer to delete the torrent program and not allow him to install it again.

Actually I just wanna install a virus on his computer. Where can I download them?
 
lol, maybe instead you should consider what you were origonaly looking for, a kinda bandwith quota program that only allows him to have so much.
 
hmm i couldnt find one either, i found a program where you can limit your own bandwith but he could just uninstall that... i dont know i think its best to just talk to him and get him to set the limit. and if that doesnt work you could password his bios and change things to make it not boot anymore.. hahaha (jk)
 
Wait, Is it your computer, and you have admin? or do you both have two seperate computers sharing the bandwith?

Your not going to be able to download a virus, just sign up for spam. and you'll get them as attachments lol. That reminds me of what my friend did, he saved a virus on a floppy to give to someone, and he accedently unleashed the virus on his computer hahahaha.

Yea seperate comps. So where do I downlaod all these viruses?
 
You said you are behind a router, so just forward him port 80 (tcp/udp for http) and don't forward the rest.
 
You could just sabotage his connection, go in and delete it or something. Short out the mobo, that'll keep him quiet for at least 2 weeks. Then do the same to the hard drive. Problem sorted.....
 
format his computer and then use a drill to drill two holes side by side at the corner of each case panel and plug in a master lock x 4. or u can just tell him to pay for his own internet.

Turn the voltage selector on his PSU to 230. It'll take him a while to figure it out.
 
actually i just had a good idea. figure out the sites that he uses to find torrents. then in your computers host file set those addresses to link to dirty sites. then tell on him for looking at naughty stuff. problem solved.

what would that do, i know not to do it, but just curious :confused:
reset the router password and then set your own then block all ports except port 80.

how do you set the password, i have a linksys wireless router, and how do you block out all ports exept 80 (and what would doing that do?)??
 
Unfortunately I think the only way that you can actually make any progress with him is to talk to him and come up with some sort of compromise... I'll leave that to you to figure that one out... ;)

everytime you type in a url such as www.yahoo.com, a dns server is contacted to get the ip address. the first place it looks is in your host file. the next place it goes to is your isp. so if the host file has the ip for www.yahoo.com, then it doesn't go to the isp to look it up. this is actually a good way to block popular pop up ads.
