Message through Network!!!

Hello, Does anyone know the prompt word used in "RUN" which will allow u to msg another user throught the network? I used to use on windows98 "winpopup" but on Windows XP its not working. Does anyone know?

We have it at the office and it's pretty cool.

only works if Messenger service is running

if the messenger service is not running how do u run it

control panel->administrator tools->services->find messenger and start it
