Messenger problems

Hey guys.
When I'm on Live Messenger, and I type a message, the first 2 words or so are typed, then Live blocks up for like 5 seconds and then displays my written message. When I hit enter, it takes another 2 seconds (during which Live blocks up again) and then is displayed in the conversation area. I tried updating Live, and also tried with Windows Messenger, both without success.

uninstall and reinstall. i know of another computer that does this but it does it thoughout the entire OS, not just messenger.

Yeah I got MSN Plus Live.
I'm gonna uninstall it and see...

never get these stupid add ons ive had bad experiences with them in the past

I agree!

Disinstalling MSN Plus Live didn't help. I'm gonna try re-installing MSN.

Still no change. This really pisses me off, as I am a frequent user of MSN Messenger (or Live, whatever you get the point....)
