Hey guys what do you think about Metro 2033? This game is supposed to be the game with highest requirements from what i've heard. Optium 8gb+ ram wow....Anybody played it yet? Any comments on it? I'm thinking of getting it but still trying to decide if it's worth it. I've posted the requirements for the game in case somebody needs them.

System Requirements:

Minimum:

* Dual core CPU (any Core 2 Duo or better will do)
* DirectX 9, Shader Model 3 compliant graphics cards (GeForce 8800, GeForce GT220 and above)
* 1GB RAM

Recommended:

* Any Quad Core or 3.0+ GHz Dual Core CPU
* DirectX 10 compliant graphics card (GeForce GTX 260 and above)
* 2GB RAM

Optimum:

* Core i7 CPU
* NVIDIA DirectX 11 compliant graphics card (GeForce GTX 480 and 470)
* As much RAM as possible (8GB+)
* Fast HDD or SSD

Enabling 3D Vision
Metro 2033 utilizes NVIDIA 3D Vision with compatible cards and hardware. To play in 3D you will require:

* NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 and above recommended
* A 120Hz (or above) monitor
* NVIDIA 3D Vision kit
* Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows 7

I've heard that this game is the next crysis, the "optimum" specs seem to indicate that too.

But apparantly the game looks really good on medium and up anyway.

I just got done watching the review on it on IGN.com - got a 6.9...

I'd think it'd be worth to give it a shot, but from what I saw on the review, it honestly doesn't look like you too much of a powerhouse to play it on full settings.

I heard that people say that the coding of the game is too poor and that's why it need really high requirements to play it in max but really, the quality is not that good even if you max it out. I think the game it's worth playing but the graphics are not really good compared to other games.

Those are some of the most retarded specs I have ever seen in my life. Even GTA4 with its poor coding didn't achieve that :P Makes you wonder how busted the game truly is.

That game looks like crap, and the "optimum" requirements are just a joke. Somebody said the next Crysis...yeah, right.

From what i heard, the game got bad scores from "critics" because it has no multiplayer... okay, that makes perfect sencs. /sarcasm.

Let's not forget, this game is based on a novel, and IMO it sounds like fallout 3 in many ways.

switch to high bandwidth, otherwise it looks not very godo ;)

It doesn't seem to be worth the specs tbh, it is just FO3 with a few bells and whistles it seems. The whole thing of it is programmed badly seems to be true
