Mic won't work

I have the Sennheiser PC151 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106346 headset. I don't have any clue why, but I cannot get the mic to work. It has worked before, but now for some reason it isn't. I've tried everything I can think of. I've tried a different headset and the mic on that headset works. I've sent Sennheiser an email, and hope to get a response back from them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
