Micro SD card for Garmin GPS

A friend has the maps of Europe on a micro SD card for the Garmin GPS Nuvi 200 series. I went on line to price these and they are ridiculous($200-300). Is it possible to copy his card to another SD card that I could use? If so I am assuming i would first have to download his card to my computer then somehow download the info to a new card. How would I do this and what equipment would I need.
Thanks

microSD cards (I'm assuming was what you looked up) are not that expensive, depending on the size. And the Nuvi 200 series are about $100USD most places.
In order to have a computer read an SD card of anysort, you will need a card reader. Some support stand-alone microSD cards, others only support SD. So see if your friend has an adapter for his.
Next, you will need your own microSD or SD card, whichever you prefer.
All you really need to do, is insert the card so your computer reads it, set the maps or if they are in a folder, just copy the folder to your desktop or somewhere easily accessible.
Then copy them onto your SD card
