micro works 6.0 help!!!

Hi im new, so if i come across dumb plz forgive me!
What it is, I have a computer that microsoft works was not installed on, but have the restore disk from my old computer that contains the software....
How do i get it off the disk onto my pc without messing it all up????

you put the disk into your new computer and install. correct me if im wrong. are you having works on 2 computers?

I dont want to restore my computer....I only want the works program off the disk but cant find it when I browse for it.

If the restore disc you're trying to use is not for the computer you're trying to put it on, chances are you're out of luck.

Dam... the disk is for an e-machines and my newer computer is a Packard Bell.
I only wanted to use the templates for Wedding planning....Grrrr

Yeah my family has an e-machines and it has works and you can't really get it off the disk ,and I might be wrong but if you try to somehow "Break into" the disk's files it would be illegal and not discused here.
