MicroATX build for a submarine...

Well if it is unknown I serve onboard a submarine, we have limited space yadada. I need something small, and for around 300 bucks, cheaper than a little laptop and a lot better. I already have a 15 inch monitor not in use, so that is covered. I already have a HD and cd/dvd burner.

What I need.

Case
PSU
Motherboard
GPU
CPU

I would like to play games and watch movies on it, quite is good because I don't want to share the limited space and be the obnoxious guy with a loud computer.

This is what I came up with so far.

I would like to buy it by next Friday, payday. This right here comes to 327.00, I would like to get it down to 300.

I would like to PLAY just about any game, however, I am aware great quality graphics will not be enjoyed, but beating boredom and size are key.

Also recommendations on what GPU's fit what cases are good, thanks.

EDIT:

On second thought to save money, I can use the RAM from my PC at home.

I think I may need an slmi MicroATX case, as small as possible and if they make them low form GPU.

You don't have a PSU picked out?

Heres a recommendation:
Rosewill Stallion Series Dual Ball Bearing Fan RD400-2-DB ATX V2.2 400W Power Supply 115V/230V CSA, UL, TUV, FCC ($32)

Also, lol it's sort of a weird thought of playing computer games in a submarine :P

just how small is matx? i think i have an matx case and mobo currently. but it easily fits my 8800GT which is pretty big...

the case is a good 10cm shorter then a standard case and a good deal smaller... so i would have thought that would be matx size

E2160 1.8GHz Dual-Core Processor ($71.99)
GeForce 8600GT Video Card - Retail ($100)
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX All Solid Capacitor Intel Motherboard ($89.99)
Rosewill RP500-2 ATX12V v2.01 500W Power Supply ($49.99)

(~$312)

EDIT: No idea what you would want for a Case...

NZXT Apollo Black SECC Steel Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ($70)?

That case is definately not mATX, if you want a decent mATX case look at one of the Silverstone Sugo or one of those cube cases (although you may want to change the PSU in the latter).
