microSD card does not read.

Hi guys,

Hi, I have a reader "f" that uses a micro SD card. I also got a USB converter that I can plug into my computer and I should be able access the stuff on the card via my computer.

Problem is, when the reader is in the computer with the 8gb card inserted, it shows in my computer as 0 bytes and I cannot access the files on the card. If I remove the card it comes up with a message saying please insert disk.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the reader several times, both with the 8gb card inserted and with it removed, and still get the same error.

Reader F was doing just fine before, it stopped all of a sudden. Any help please.

have you tried leaving the reader connected and entering the bios to check its detected there.

Well the computer is seing something in the reader cuz when i leave it in there it comes back to me with a perephical problem. When there's nor card in the slot it tells me to insert disc. Coul it be the reader itself ?
Thanks

do i have to take apart the computer now. what's the best next logical solution ? Could it be the reader.
