Microsoft has been bumped to the top!

Well me and my tech teacher went to Microsoft heroes happen {here} convention and... wow just wow. They were focusing on server 2008 but at the end we got all this. Free 32/64 bit server 2008 enterprise edition (it says one year trial but i think it is full copy), A free copy of Vista ultimate sp1, ms sql server, and free visual studios.


This is like the hapiest day ever. i never really owned a copy of a MS server before!!!

im just suprised they gave that all away!
 
People need to tell me about this stuff!

When's the next one?

EDIT: The Hartford, CT Developer track is full :( I have no need to attend any of the other ones.

You can (or at least could a month or so ago), download Server 2008 Enterprise with a 1 year license for trial purposes. But is the Vista OS full or just a trial?

Sounds like a great deal though!
 
All the close places (I know Dad won't be willing to drive far) are full for my session. :(

I get invited to the MS conferences all the time. I'm an MS partner... So I get kept in the loop I guess. I've gotten lots of awesome freebies from those conferences. Two I use daily are Expression Web and Office 2007 Premium. I have a whack more in my file cabinet.

It is "Officially a one year trial version" in order to not have to hand out $3000 1099 forms to everyone. But it will not expire (according to Blain Barton)
