If you got a download manager like YSIGet, like I have, you can download the whole SP2 package (272MB) over a few days. You can stop the download and resume it as many times as you want until you get it all. It took me a week to do it, but I did get it all. Next up: Nero 6 update packages. Download managers are a Godsend for big DL's.Camper said:I just got a little message on my task bar telling me on October 10, 2006 Support for Windows XP SP1 ends.
This kind of sucks since I use dial up I cant just go on the internet and download the updates![]()
I'm gona get the cd sooner or latter. I would try and download it but since I share my dial up with 6 other people I don't have the time needed to download it.[-0MEGA-] said:Microsoft also offers Service Pack 2 on CD. And you can get SP2 thats only ~75MB, thats downloadable via dial-up.
