Bought it January '07. Im not a big user of Office packages, but as I couldn't open an email today I thought it was about time I looked into it![]()
How old is the laptop???? If it is new go back to the store and get them to give you a key because they should have it all registered
They won't give him a key if it is a trial.
Does it say anything about purchasing an upgrade or a license when you try to use it?
It asks me to put a product key in. I clicked a link to the Microsoft website, where I had to put in some details to receive a product key for a 60 day trial. I've done that so I now have it until August 2008, I guess when it runs out it will give me the option to buy it.
Sorry for the late reply, specs are on here:

Just get OpenOffice! If you're not big user of office, there's no reason paying for it, and OpenOffice is completely free and handles all (at least most common) MS office files.
