Microsoft Office (Word) Language Issue

I have a co-worker that uses Microsoft Word 2003 and somehow the spelling and grammer check is presented in a different language besides English. I try to access the tools section -> Language -> Set Language. The English language does not want to stay as the primary.

Do you think the English Language is corrupted? Also, if I repair the installation by running the installation would fix the problem or is there a patch that includes all the languages?

I appreciate the help!
