I am using MS Office on my laptop. I have many documents in Word. I tried to access on of them today and gota message to say I did not have permission the do so. I have admin privileges under user. Help. How can I open my documens?
 
That's an issue with many possible solutions, try some of the following:

1.) Restart your computer and try again
2.) Create a duplicate copy of that file by pressing CTRL+C then CTRL+V
3.) Right click on the file and make sure you have permission to view it.
4.) Copy the document to a different location, such as the desktop.

First off, please download the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility using the following link:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Run the utility (Start > All Programs > Windows Installer Cleanup), and remove any traces of MS Office present using the utility, then reinstall the program.

Check if this resolves your issue all right ...keep me posted.
