Microsoft Surface Pro 2...question

So, I want to purchase the SP2, but the 256gb isn't due out until December (and who knows if it will release then!)...would you opt for 128gb and utilize external storage or cloud if needed, or wait for the 256gb (which also has a $300 price jump). I'm thinking I can add external storage much cheaper...?
Thanks for the advice

This is question of what you use external storage for, if you use it to watch movies for example this may be a problem since you would have to make sure your cloud storage has built in media players otherwise you will have to download each video to watch and then to remember to delete each video otherwise you will fill up your internal memory.

If you go the route of a external device then your attached to a cable and your battery life decreases dramatically cause your now power a SSD and a spinning HDD.

Personally I feel you could get a convertible with a larger SSD for less but if you get the Surface Pro I would recommending waiting for the larger SSD model, and since it is coming out at a later date it just gives you give you time to cover the extra cost.

Thank you! I actually went ahead and purchased the 128gb to try...I don't download music or video. I do download some pics, but keep those in my dropbox.
I have a couple weeks to load this thing up and see if it fits my need.

I may be taking it back and waiting until December...hope not!

Thanks again :)

Glad to hear, if you are not loading with movies or music then you should be fine with a 128 GB SSD.
