Microsoft Vista - Beware!

I have had my new computer one week and now find that there is an error with Mail. To be exact, outgoing messages lock up in the outbox. They cannot be deleted, moved or sent. This renders Mail all but useless. Microsoft is aware of problem but has yet to develop a patch.

Has anyone found a way around this?
 
ya its nothing great as of now... i am expecting my 64 bit home premium in the mail and currently using the 32 bit version.. not 2 many problems for me anymore...
give it a year or so... then we can judge
 
I'm running Vista Ultimate on my newest build (in my sig) and it doesn't lag a bit. There are still quite a few bugs and such in it though. Give Microsoft of a year or so to get some good updates, service packs, and drivers out until it can be used readily.

Vista Ultimate is working fine with me I don't have any errors, apart from the fact that I didn't get what the box said!!! I can't seem to install the 64-bit version even though the box said so, but I got it free from work anyway, so I can't complain. :D :D :D Its pretty good in my opinion, I just wish those driver writers at nvidia would hurry up and release a FULLY FUNCTIONAL vista driver. :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
vista has broken a lot of stuff for me, and I hate how everything is changed around. MS has already slated Vienna to release in 2009, vista may end up being like another windows ME, and was something they shelled out to make some money.

I'm running vista business, which is the same exact OS as ultimate minus the encrypted file system. I have a mid range ATI card (x850 PCI-E), 2 gigs of ram, AMD 64 3400+ and it runs okay. However I am not impressed. Vista's isntaller sucks big time.
 
i have just set up my uncles new sony vaio laptop that has vista onit. abit weird but nothing great i wont be spending to upgrade i dont think
 
i dont have this problem i think its a adware or something in the computer that wont send out or anything check that out !
 
Vista Ultimate is fine and dandy here. Very pleasant and nice to use. No compatibility issues at all - and as for Mail, use GMail. Much better ;)

Wouldn't it be best to not buy it in the first yer then? Especialy if its just XP MacOSX and nice effects meged. (by that i mean nothing new)
