i ahve an hp dv6000 laptop running windows vista. I have recently started having a problem when starting up windows, and whenever I open or close the laptop. The error states microsoft visual c++ runtime error
program C:/windows/system32/rundll32.exe
I have a feeling it has something to do with my nvidea card or my display. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this annoying error?
Thanks!

If its a visual c++ error it should have nothing to do with your video card. A lot of times this happens when you have programs that often mess up and you have a default debugger set as visual studio (a programming suite from microsoft)

i would suggest reinstalling .net

if you have any system tray or back group nvidia processes running, try killing them then do the close open proccesss. see if that works.
