What do you think about Windows XP ?

Same programs of windows isn't good. Like Windows movie maker.

Are there others programs ?
 
Dont think much about it, I have XP Pro since it came out, ran it about a year and half and put 2000 back on still think 2000 is more stable but time is running out on it, cant get media player 10 or 11 or IE7. XP should have been called 2000SE
 
I run XP Pro on one laptop, Win 2000 on another laptop, XP Home on two desktops, and Media Center on another desktop. They all satisfy me for what I need to use them for. Oh, I do have Win 98SE on another computer also.
 
It depends what you want to do. XP is kind of like a fluffy enhanced version of 2000. Ive always liked the stability of 2000.
 
Microsoft give many programs with Windows XP like movie maker.
What do you think about these programs?
 
Movie Maker and System restore came out with ME and microsoft put them on XP too. Movie maker is ok but there are better ones.
 
i would agree with post no 6, it depends on what your doing with the computer which will depend on the operating sytem you use.

if you want an os that looks good than xp it is, if you want xp without the look than 2000 which happens to be more stable impo
 
some issues on the XP os makes me wish i had another windows OS (reason for formatting so many times) thats why i am now on 2000 instead of XP
 
every os has crappy programs like movie maker, all you have to do is download new free ones, or buy them. they make them simple because most people if they were into video editing would get something else. for example if they made movie maker better, that wouldnt compel me to buy XP.
and i love wordpad. and i hate paint, and i hate movie maker, and i love wmp 10
