Mid-range laptop?

I'm looking for a decent new laptop around the $1000 mark ($1300 to $1400 max).
I would like to play some games on it, but not Crysis (I already have a gaming PC at home for that). All I'd want to play on it is some TF2 (or games with similar requirements) from time to time. The only other thing that I want is for it look esthetically pleasing. And I have no preference on screen size.

Any suggestions?
 
At about 1500$ i recommend a hp nx9420 laptop. it comes with a 256 ddr ATI x1600, 2ghz intel centrino duo T7200, BIG display, 1gb ddram2 667mhz, 120gb SATA hdd, full qwery keyboard, and the battery lifetime is around 4 hours. it is a v powerfull laptop.
 
dell make good laptops. i would suggest you go onto their site and customize one and see how nice it is.
