Mid Range Laptops

I'm looking for the best mid-range performance. I've basically narrowed my possible selection to two laptops.

From what I've gathered, the first link has a much better video card, a slightly lesser processor, and is bigger in overall size than link two, correct?

My main question is would either one be better than the other with average user mid-range tasks, or are they just too similar, minus the size? Thanks in advance.

the first one has a way better GPU. But it is the lesser of 2 evils. Acer is one of the worst quality companies on the market. They are about equal in their quality to HP these days.

Look for a Asus, Lenovo, Toshiba, MSI, or dell. They are the better systems around.

Iv had acer laptops before and my girlfriend has had one and her mam has one now.

None of them have ever broke and they were had for years the majoirty of them.

The one my gf's mum has she has had for about 4-5 years, the one i had lasted about 3 before i brew was spilt on it, so they dont seem that bad to me.

Iv had ipod's last less time. Not to mention a friend has a dell laptop which he has had to replace 2 times this year due to a faulty hard drive in the first one and a faulty screen in the second.

Sorry, I do not believe that Acer and HP are terrible brands at all. I've owned many and never had trouble. All four desktop and laptop HP computers I have work fine and are over 6 years old. However, I've had trouble with a Lenevo, a Toshiba, and Dell. I mean, they use brand name parts, and well, that's what the included warranty is for anyways.

Anyways, your personal experiences with Acer aside, you think the first link is superior? It seems like the processor in the second link is barely better than the processor in the first link, and the GPU is much better than the second.

let the numbers do the talking.

acer is low quality. If you wish to buy one, the first one is the better choice.

That does not mean that you can not get better for the money.
