Middle-clicking in Firefox?

Just installed Windows 7. I'm noticing now that when I middle-click on links or toolbar buttons in Firefox, I get the scrolling icon and it does not actually middle-click on the link or button. Previously, I used middle-click to open links in new tabs.

I'm not sure if this was a FF feature or something add-on related. I have Tab Mix Plus and All-In-One Mouse Gestures, but I don't see any options that seems to pertain to this. Anyone know how to get middle-clicking back?

Thanks!

Double check you don't have some software that's overriding this setting. I seem to recall installing some software for a mouse I was using and it ended up giving me problems similar to yours... That's why I never install that crap anymore :P

^^ Yup Logitech Setpoint does this! If you dont have Setpoint I suggest you install a Firefox addon called "Tab Mix Plus". Open the options and change the settings.

Well, in my previous install I also had Setpoint, so I don't think it's that, because I didn't have the problem before. And as I said in my original post, I have Tab Mix Plus installed.
