Two undersea cables were damaged for unknown reasons, they are FLAG and SMW4. Luckily my ISP had a backup connection but due to the massive amount of people it operated at very slow speed ( I could barely browse some and not all websites)

Internet split into two independent networks due to broken cable
... if not yet
Europe and America cut from the internet
