Hey guys, I have recently bought Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, and liked it so much that I decided the buy the original computer version. I was thinking that even in the lowest graphics settings, and my computer tasks running at minimal, I should be able to play decently. Boy was I wrong. I lagged this way and that and any and all attempts to jump only resulted in the noise and a random jitter of movement. The FPS is clearly below playable, my guess is maybe 17. But I still feel that my computer should be able to run this without this many problems.
My laptop has a Intel Celeron 900 2.2GHz single core single thread 1MB cache, 3GB of DDR3 RAM, 250GB 5400rpm HDD, and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M 1GB of memory.
I know the specs are much less than new, but I feel like they should be able to run Minecraft at least. Can someone tell me what the bottleneck here is? I'm going to assume it's my integrated graphics.
