Minimum?

IT would all depend on what you want from the motherboard. IF you just want it to hold the processor and do the basic functions of its job then you can go fairly low.

If you're looking to overclock and need something more specialised then you pay a bit more to get the quality...

I would personally not go lower than about $50 myself...
 
I never spend under $60 on a motherboard. Your really looking for quality not how much it cost. If you know it is a good motherboard and a low price, then there is no problem. There is no Minimum, It really depends on what you are looking for, Performance, Basic Use, Gaming, Etc. If you know what you are buying then you'll be just fine. You can really actually find some good motherboards for under $60, $50.
