Mircrosoft Outlook

Okay, I just got my laptop, and it's not a brand new one, but I got Windows XP on it, and Mircosoft word and things. I'm trying to set up my Outlook account, and it keeps telling me that I need to be online to do it. I'm connected to the internet, I don't know what else I need to do. Can someone please help me with this??

you using dialup or broadband? it maybe setup to use one of the other and you're using the different one.
you dont need to be online until you grab the mail or test the account.

go to control panel and delete the outlook profile and start over.

I have comcast for my internet...but I'll try the control panel thing.

I got it to work with Outlook Express. That was what I was looking for in the first place, just didn't actually look in the right place. Thanks for the help...I'm just now connecting it to my other email.
