Hey guys,
I'd like to know if its possible to redirect a download to be downloaded from another website. Eg. I wanna download something off www.cnet.com but instead off my ISP's mirror domain. Is this possible by using some sort of software etc.?

Thanks Sammy

Hello,

Not exatly sure what you mean, but you can set your IE to poxy through another host.
In IE,

On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings.
Under Proxy server, click to select the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.
In the Address box, type the IP address of the Server.
In the Port box, type the port number that is used by the Server for client connections (by default, 8080).
You can click to select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box if you do not want the Server computer to be used when you connect to a computer on the local network (this may speed up performance).
Click OK to close the LAN Settings dialog box.
Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.
Get a nice list to choose at http://www.samair.ru/proxy/socks.htm

Hey smajer,
No I'm not talking about using proxies. You see, my ISP has a mirror for downloads that are unmetered for all its customers, and I'd like to take advantage of this a little more than what they allow. So is it possible to make the file I'm downloading off another website look like it's being downloaded off the ISP's mirror, so I'm not charged downloads towards my quota?

Sorry but we can't help you with this. This is how your ISP makes money and we can't help you get away from paying. If you really want to download something there are many free hotspots at coffee shops and what not.
