I bought a new hard drive and put it in today, hooked it up and booted up a cracked version of vista premium lite and when i get to the step where I need to select the hard drive nothing shows up. Theres a message stating something like "Missing device drivers...". Ive installed a genuine version of vista home premium on the same comp on a dif HD and it worked fine. Could someone tell me step by step or link a site thatll tell me how to get the drivers installed in order for this dang thing to work? Is there a possibility that the HDD is dead? It makes some buzzing noises that I have never heard on my other drive.
