Missing dll file

Greetings All,

I have a medical billing program that i am attempting to install for my friend. The computer it is being loaded into has Win xp pro, plenty of ram and hard drive space, 3.0ghz processor, Dell, etc.

The cd, upon attempted installation, indicates that the program cannot be installed because (error message) it says it is missing the file: ace32.dll .

Where or what is going on here? Where would this file be placed? (I have it on a flash drive now). THANKS.

I don't remember much about xp. But try pasting it in the Windows/system folder and if does not work, then the Windows/system32.

Thanks for the reply......I think i already tried that 2 weeks ago (was on vacation) but, the program still would not install.....

Can you name the program, also did you try a re install after you copied the dll?
