Missing Favorites

I moved my Favorites Folder temporarily and then I moved it back to it`s original location. Now, when I click "Favorites" on the menu bar, there are no bookmarks there and I can`t add bookmarks. I can still access them in "documents and settings/myprofile" though. The same when I click "Start" button in task bar and try to access the Favorites Folder. Even though I moved the folder back to the original location, I still can`t access it by this shortcuts. How do I fix this? Thanks! :eek:
 
Right click your desktop.

Select the "New" option

Select the "Shortcut" option

You should be able to figure it out once you get to this point
 
Bookmarks

I get that part but how do I get the bookmarks to show in Internet Explorer when I click "Favorites" in the menu bar? Considering I put the Favorites Folder back in it`s original folder on my pc, why wouldn`t it show up like it used to? I have over 600 bookmarks.
