I just upgrade to Vista and now my lwt201 from does not support the 1600 x 900 anymore. It can do 1650 x 1050 but i dont like 16:10 ratio. I like 16:9 ratio better. My monitor driver is up to date. What can i do? Is it happening to anyone?

You probably already do, but do you have your video card drivers and the correct monitor driver up to date?

Yes both are. I just dont understand why all my resolution are change when i go from xp to Vista!

It is a known problem between the newest nvidia drivers and vista. I have don e a ton of research and all I could find was a program that changed a file in the graphics driver to support a different resolution, but that did not work for me. I am running a 1280x720 monitor and vista dosent support it. :(

We may have the same problem since we are both using a 8800 nvidia card. I hope it will be fix whit another driver soon. Can u give me the link for that program?

straight off the bat vista didnt allow me to use 1440x900 (another 16:9 res), i have no idea how i got it to work in then end, keep trying different driver versions, even fi they say they are not compatible, install them anyway.

Good luck, dragon

I had the same type of problem with Vista when I first installed it. I had to a download graphics driver update from CNET to fix it. Just check the microsoft update website.

I have looked and cant seem to find it. Now that I think of it, it wasent actually a program but an nfo file that tricked the system registry into thinking that is was an older version of the drivers or something like that. But even after I had applied the new file I still didnt get any more resolutions.
