missing system file

System File Checker (command: sfc) on Windows 98SE is supposed to replace system files that are missing or corrupt. When I Scan For Altered Files, it finds nothing. But I keep getting a message that says blaublau.dll is missing. (Doesn't actually say blaublau.dll. Can't remember what dll it said. I'm not at that PC right now.) So, the scan option in sfc didn't work. I move on to extract it with the Extract one file from the installation disc method, right. I try to restore it from my win98 disc. No dice. Then, I go for manual style. But now, I have to look through all of those CAB files to find it. Am I right??? That stinks. I know there are websites out there where I can get dll files but, that's not good enough. I need to be able to access them without an internet connection. PERIOD. What is the deal guys???

1. Worst case you can recompile the CD
2. You shouldnt have to since all the CD does is look to see if the DLL is registered on the system anyways -- have you tried my suggestion anyways??
