Hello everyone,

This is my very first time I post a thread here in the Forum. Here is please my important question:

I have an Acer Aspire Laptop 5315 with Windows Vista Home. The device worked good but slowly. To increase its speed, I buyed yesterday 2GB DDR RAM and I installed this in my laptop.

Suddenly, I noticed that I had made a very big mistake with the MEM, want the maximum Memory RAM that my model accept, is ONLY 1 GB RAM. My mistake results that the Laptop Does Not Start Any More. What should I do to repear my mistake?

Thanks,

Did you take the memory out that you put in? Usually what you have to do in this case is reset the cmos by removing the cmos battery but with this being a laptop, its not that simple as you usually have to take the laptop apart to get to it. You will have to take it in to a repair shop and have them do it for you.
