how bad is it if i mix different brand memory if they are:
1. same sizes, pc2700? pc3200?
2. different size, pc2700?, pc3200?

it would only go as fast as the slow memory correct?

it depends on if your mother board can support it, go to uyr manufator's website and get the in depth specs or something, it just depends

Well..

Yes you are right. It would run at 366mhz. However, you could overclock the 366 memory and make it a 400 like the other. Do that only if you know you have quality ram and it's capable of taking it. Mine can't for example.
