Mixing Ram Cas Latency -9 vs 8

Your best bet would be to replace with new and sell the old sticks.

I'm running short on upgrade funds--as I already upgraded to ssd, and the HD 7850---so just thinking of increasing ram--what do you think the ram I have could sell for? here's another onehttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313080 I could get this for around $48.

Yes, the memory I picked would work with your board.

Those Team Xtreem's are a new brand and no reviews so can't really comment on them. All I can tell you is that the Gskill memory that I linked you to is really good.

I found a 4 gb set of ram identical to what I currently have---so that's what I got--hopefully everything will last until my next upgrade in a couple of years.--Thanks everyone.
