Mixing RAMs

Hi everyone,

I have 2GB DDR2 533MHz RAM on my pc and i want to upgrade it to 4GB. Can i mix my RAM with that of a 800MHz?
My motherboard is the Asus P5WD2 Premium and it supports both 533 n 800 MHz RAM. Can i run 2GB DDR2 533MHz and 2GB DDR2 800 MHz together?

Well its not the best idea to mix ram. but it should work fine but they will both run at 533MHz. i think u should buy a 4g kit of 800MHz ram 2 x 2G sticks

It should be fine. The RAM will default to the lower speeds of the current RAM.
