I'm thinking about getting a AMD 5000+ black edition for $100 since it's OC'ing is good. What is a good mobo to go with it?

Okay hehe wasn't sure if you had a 5000+ or not. Hmmm... I'm so low on money... might have to sell my 360

You want a good OC'er for good value? Go Intel! :)

Intel Dual Core E2160 + GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L ;)

Unless you're an AMD fan... :D

On topic:

A good fan would be the Zalman CNS9700/9500

AMD 5000+ black edition is still a better OC'r in my eyes... not to mention it's only $30 more then the e2160

The AMD 5000+ BE will overclock from stock 2.6 GHZ to 3.3 Ghz.But mine wouldn't run stable above 3.2 Ghz.The Intel E2160 will overclock from stock 1.8 Ghz to 3.2 Ghz.So which is the better overclocker?Shoot my Intel E6750 will overclock from stock 2.66 Ghz to 3.9 Ghz.And runs like a champ...

Unless you really want to run SLI get a AM2+ board not a AM2. You will have better upgradeability, Hypertransport 3.0/ PCIe 2.0 and support for DDR2 1066.
Depends on what you want to spend
