Ok, so built everything and know I have a little trouble. I have the Asrock z77 extreme 4. If anyone has this motherboard, can you tell me if you can see your video card in your BIOS. I can see the cpu and the ram recognized by the BIOS but I can't see the video card. Is this normal? And I'm asking this because my OS won't install.

You can't see the video card in any BIOS of any motherboard.

how won't your OS install? Does it come up an error, or does it blue screen?

It comes up on blue screen, with a 00007b error. This is on XP, yes I know its old, windows 7 is on its way.

Try removing the graphics card and reinstalling Windows (use the integrated video on your motherboard if you can). Sometimes you get conflicts. Reinstall the graphics card once Windows has installed.

No it doesn't. What makes you think the graphics card is the problem? Have you tried testing the RAM and the hard drive. Usually they are direct causes of blue screens.

Go into the BIOS and change the SATA controller from AHCI/raid to IDE/compatibility and you should be able to install xp.
