Are you sure that everything is connected securely and your cables connected to the right place? Try opening up the case and reinstall the graphics card. Make sure that its in ALL the way. If that fails, then you have to systematically test your components. Since this is most likely a graphics issue, do you have another graphics card lying around?

If you do then just stick that one in, and see if that boots, if it does, then your graphics card is at fault. If it doesn't, then that will suggest a more widespread problem and you will have to try and pinpoint the faulty component by changing them one at a time.

If it is the graphics card, try plugging your current graphics into another system and see if that works, just to be sure.

When you boot, do you hear any hard disk activity? It can be your monitor that's faulty. Keep an eye on the HDD LED, and listen hard, for hard drive activity, if there is activity and it seems to be booting normally just without video, try logging in, or do anything that might show that it works. If that's the case then your monitor is stuffed, and then again plug that into another system that you know definitely works just to be sure.
