Hi, I made the thread New Computer but no one seems to be answering me anymore so I'm going to post here... Here's my predicament. This mobo isn't good with linux as posted on a comment, which should I replace it with that is still compatible with the other parts?
Original Post:
I am going to try to build a computer on a realllllly tight budget, (I'm 14 so, yeah...) and I wanted to know if this was a decent build. I want to run Ubuntu Linux as the OS and wanted to play basic flash games and some games with low spec requirements. If there is anything I should change or isn't compatable please tell me why and what I should replace it with.
EDIT 3: I'm now using the parts on this list:
Mobo that needs changed:

PSU:

Fan:

and these combos (combos cannot be added to wish lists.)
Case & CPU:

DVD-R & Sata

Edit 2: If you know of any cheaper but equal parts, please share.
I'd like to keep it under or around 200-300 (As always, less is better! )
Thanks in advance,
-Zach
Post about Mobo:
IMPORTANT: This was on a comment for the Mobo!
Specific to linux:
The 2 USB 3.0 ports don't work in linux because there are no drivers for the Etron EJ168 chipset. And optical audio wasn't working out of the box.
Also, using the proprietary AMD video drivers graphics are unbelievably choppy and video is unwatchable. Using the open source drivers everything is much better, but there are some dropped frames watching video. It's noticeable but isn't terrible. But because of it I've decided I'm going to use a discrete Nvidia card I have lying around. Too bad, I would've liked to use the HDMI with audio.
