Trying to figure out whats wrong with this bloody rig.
There is no image on the monitor at all, I can hear the hard drive and cd rom turn on, and the lights flash on the keyboard, and also the fans kick in.
I reset the cmos and put the gpu into another rig (only thing i can test) and it was detected just fine by windows..
I put it back into the old rig, and it actually displayed something for the first time out of like 20 attempts. It displayed the stats of my gpu, nothing else, then immediately went to the mobo splash screen, where it said to press tab or delte or something (I think it normally loads past this after a few seconds) It juisthung there and didnt respond though.
I fiddled with the memory and found that it wouldnt display anything again... I tried every memory slot, with multiple dimms, even with none in, no hd connected. and it still had no image appear.
Im guessing theres no way to be sure whats wrong, and I will have to take it to a repair shop.
