Mobo Problem?: Lag

It seems like my computer lags a lot on things that it shouldn't. Some games do and take longer then they used to to load. Also, sometimes when I play videos and do something else at the same time, th video laggs. Does anyone think this is the motherboard? I had a problem similar to this before with an Asus board and I sent it RMA and it seemed to be the problem. So thats why im thinking the mobo.
 
How long as it been since you've done a reinstall of windows and how big is your hard drive. How much space is being taken up?
 
I agree with meanman... That sounds more like somethings running in the background(or too much is). RAM doesn't gradually degrade or slow down. It basically works or starts giving errors.

i only installed windows once since i only got it like a month ago. my hard drive is 320GB. All my specs are in my signature.
