MOBo Question: Intel X38 mobo or a nvidia 780I Mobo??

I was wondering which one are better. a X38 brand or a 780i brand?? Anyone know whats the difference and any performance different between them two? let me know. thanks

It really comes down to whether or not you want to run an SLI or CF setup.

Like said above depends if you want SLI or Crossfire. If your not running SLI or Crossfire the performance of the chips there self seems to be pretty close

Yes you can run a Nvidia card with a X38

With the X38 you can only run one nvidia card on it, no SLI. You can run two ATI cards on it, Crossfire.

The x38 is a better board than the 780i, and a better overclocker. I'll never own another nvidia chipset.

The x38 is a far better chipset, but it depends if you would want, or need SLI or CF
