Mobo/Ram compatible?

Tonight I got all the parts for my computer and put it together. When I try to turn it on all the fans come on but I just get a black screen on the moniter.

After looking at my RAM and MOBO I do not know it my Mobo accepts DDR2 800(gskill, what i got). It says on the Mobo next to the RAM slots "DDR2 1066", and the specs on the Mobo says memory standard DDR2 1066.

Here is the Mobo:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128081

If this is not the problem I guess either the RAM or the Mobo is dead.

Thanks for any help.

The RAM and the motherboard shouldn't have any problems. DDR2 1066 is the fastest RAM that motherboard can support. I'm not sure what's wrong, just make sure everything is connected properly. If there is still a problem you might have a bad motherboard.

Do you get any beeps from BIOS? Also, are you suing the intergrated video or an External Card? If you are using the external, then you might want to try the intergrated.

That motherboard doesn't have integrated graphics, so that can't be the problem.

A lot of people have been complaining about that board lately, could just be a faulty board.
